About the course
WAVES is an online floorwork journey into fluidity, rhythm, and embodied softness. Inspired by the natural motion of water, this course teaches you how to move with continuity — rising and falling, expanding and returning, without breaking the flow.
Instead of forcing strength, WAVES invites you to work with gravity and momentum. You’ll learn to let movement travel through your body like a wave: soft at the beginning, strong at the center, and effortless in its release. Through guided practices, detailed demonstrations, and a choreography that ties everything together, you’ll experience how the qualities of water can reshape your floorwork and the way you approach movement as a whole.
The practice blends technique with creativity. You’ll explore patterns that loop, spiral, roll, and sweep across the floor, always focusing on connection — connection to the ground, to your breath, and to the internal rhythm that gives each movement its shape. By the end of the course, you’ll move with a new sense of ease: transitions become smoother, pathways become clearer, and your body learns to trust the flow.
WAVES is a course for dancers and movers who want to feel more grounded, fluid, and free in their movement. It’s for anyone who wants to transform effort into softness and discover how powerful it can be to move like water.

“I’ve been going to Amalies training for about 2 years now and it has been my favorite training, my little dance home, here in Berlin. Amalie has an incredible Knowledge about what she’s doing, I rarely felt so much trust for someone guiding me into tricks, going up side down and throwing my body around the floor. She can always give you a variation, so everyone can join and feel safe. Besides that you can count on her to get you groovin with her infectious energy and joy for dance, an amazing taste for music and a liquidity in her movement that will make you feel like an octopus.”

„Training with Kenan Dinkelmann and Amalie Stitz has changed the way I move. Their teaching helped me approach the floor with more fluidity, especially through neck opening, waves, and grounded transitions that expanded how I understand floorwork. I leave their classes feeling grounded, challenged, and more connected to my practice.
Their sequencing stands out. It builds technique and artistry in a way that supports real growth. If you want to develop your floorwork or soft acrobatics into something more expressive while keeping strong technical foundations, I highly recommend training with them.“

"The online courses allowed me to get familiar with Kenan’s style at my own pace, from my own country, before travelling to join his workshops in person. The step-by-step guidance is especially helpful for the trickier movements, giving you time to really absorb them.
Having completed that online foundation, made a real difference when I later attended his Advanced Summer Intensives in Berlin. Since the pace was faster in the live group setting, I found it valuable to already have some physical understanding of the movements I encountered. The course also helped me to see what to prepare for in advance (handstand strength, back mobility, others).
Overall, I found the online course a very useful supplement to the live workshops.
Thanks, Kenan!"
